    The CAP Cadet Program is designed to motivate and develop well-rounded young people, who in turn will become model citizens and the future leaders of our nation. CAP cadets progress at their own pace.
  • Aerospace Education
    CAP educational programs help prepare American citizens to meet the challenges of a sophisticated aerospace society and understand its related issues.
  • Emergency Services
    CAP is still best known for its search and rescue mission. Civil Air Patrol air and ground teams perform 85 percent of inland search-and-rescue missions.

  • 2011 Iowa Wing Conference 

     

    The 2011 Iowa Wing Conference was held November 11-13, 2011 at the Best Western in Dubuque, Iowa.

    The weekend included learning lab sessions on public affairs, finance, Emergency Services and cadet programs, just to name a few.  The event was capped off with a banquet and awards ceremony honoring the best of 2010.

  • Three Brothers Receive CAP Milestone Award

     

    For the Schuetz brothers, Civil Air Patrol and promoting is a family affair.

    Civil Air Patrol (CAP) cadets Nathan, Isaac, and Noah Schuetz were presented the Billy Mitchell Award on August 16, 2011. The Mitchell Award was presented by Iowa Wing Commander Colonel Ron Scheitzach.
